Jack Booty is a serial entrepreneur who scaled Kettle Kingdom from a single souvenir pop-up into one of the most successful independently operated retail stores within the Disney Kingdom. A former national football scout, he combines sharp business strategy with a passion for building winning teams.

Co-founder

Former NFL & MLB Player. Founder of marketing and consulting firm Big Dreams ventures. World Series Champ in 1997 with Florida Marlins and former LSU quaterback.

About Bogey

Bogey's Story

  • Bogey was born in captivity at a licensed facility and has lived with people his entire life. Because he never developed the survival skills wild spider monkeys learn from their families, lifelong professional care is the safest and most responsible path for him. That's where Bula's support comes in. Bogey has a human family as well as other primate bothers he gets to play with daily.

    Bogey didn't choose how his story began, but we can help how it continues. That's why every decision we make starts with one simple question: "Is this what's best for Bogey?" Our promise is simple - to give him a life filled with love, care, adventure and as many happy monkey moments as possible.
  • Bogey reminds us why we love golf. Not because of the score, but because of the fun, friendships and unforgettable moments shared along the way. His loving, playful, curious personality has made him part of the Bula family, joining us on the occasional golf adventure under the guidance of his caretaker & trainer.
  • Despite what you might see on social, golf is only a small part of Bogey's life. Most days are spent climbing, swinging, exploring, solving enrichment puzzles, enjoying his favorite snacks, playing with toys, and simply being a curious young spider monkey. He also spends time with his trainer through games and positive reinforcement that keep his mind active and strengthen their bond. Bogey has his lazy moments, and we've found Bogey to be quite cheecky too.

Why can't Bogey live in the wild?

It's one of the questions we're asked most often.

Exotic wildlife experts generally agree that primates raised in human care are not suitable for release into the wild.

The kindest thing we can do isn't to release Bogey.

It's to give him the healthiest, happiest and most enriching life possible.

Does Bogey actually play golf?

Not quite - he's still in training to become the world's most lovable golf caddie. 😉

Bogey loves carrying and retrieving objects, exploring new places, climbing, and, yes, golf balls are definitely among his favorite things. Golf courses simply happen to be one of the places where he gets to enjoy new adventures with his trainer by his side.

What does Bogey eat?

Bogey enjoys a carefully planned, species-appropriate diet that includes fresh fruits, vegetables and other foods recommended for spider monkeys.

Can I meet Bogey?

Bogey occasionally joins us at select golf events under the close supervision of his trainer, but his wellbeing always comes first.

If you do happen to meet him, the best gift you can give Bogey is a calm hello. Please give him space, follow his trainer's guidance, and let him decide if he'd like to hug you.
